We’ve found the perfect shade of pink

And it’s coming up roses…

There’s a new colour on the block that we can’t get enough of, and it’s something a little unexpected. Meet Tinted Pink – the perfect shade of pink for creating cosy, calming and unique spaces. It’s soft and soothing but equally beautiful, complementing neutrals like white and grey effortlessly.

Despite having feminine connotations, pink has become more widely used since its debut as an interior favourite in 2018. Ever since, shades similar to it have been used in more than just nurseries. The right shade works just as well in bedrooms, guest rooms, studies and even kitchens.

Our favourite way to bring the colour into our spaces is through a two-tone wall, where Tinted Pink is paired with our go-to off-white (Stucco White), from Colour Collection III. Here, half the wall is painted in each colour creating a colour-blocking effect that draws interest without overwhelming a room. To take the look even further, add personal touches of décor – like another pastel hue, original artworks or textured cushions.

For some homeowners, pink walls are a non-negotiable, so consider using the colour to freshen up old furniture. Doing so means creating statement décor pieces that give you the perfect accent of pink. A pink statement chair or chest of drawers will instantly uplift the feeling in your space without changing too much. If you’re not quite ready to commit to this trendy shade, try adding a few scatters – they’re not as permanent as painted walls and may just be the quickest and most effortless way to achieve an affordable interior update. We always have new scatter cushion ranges in-store, curated with our customers in mind – so finding the perfect ones are easy.

Get this romantic look (inspired by the month of love) by popping into your favourite Shaves store where we will happily assist you in choosing the right product and décor pieces for your space. We know you’re going to love this shade as much as we do.
